Senior Methods Engineer for Seymour, IN to develop & design automotive lighting assembly equipment; prepare & implement production processes for automotive lighting products (new & modified); minimize costs & adhere to budgets; ensure timeframes are achieved; attain quality objectives; mentor junior Methods Engineers. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or closely-related & 4 yrs experience in a Methods or Process Engineering role for automotive lighting designing automated assembly equipment; developing engineering processes for automotive lightning; setting up & tuning photometric aiming, plastic welding technologies & gluing equipment; developing equipment from specifications to industrialization & validation; and using CAD & GD&T. 20% international travel req’d.
