Senior hardware engineer

PEPL, Inc. is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer for a rugged display manufacturing client in Duluth, GA. The Senior Hardware Engineer has the following main responsibilities:

• Schematic level hardware design of technical requirements for new products and customer customizations
• Printed Circuit Board design
• Electronic component evaluation and selection
• Ensure MIL-STD product qualification (temperature, EMI, CE, power supply, etc)
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution for existing product issues

Qualifications

• 10+ years hardware design experience
• BSEE or BSCE required
• Digital and analog circuit design in product development environment
• Multilayer, high speed Printed Circuit Board design
• Computer motherboard design experience highly desired
• Experience with FPGA and ARM microprocessor design
• EMI testing and troubleshooting
• Use of analytical and CAD software tools and lab equipment
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Must be a self-motivated team player
• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
