Senior drainage project manager/engineer

A client of ours is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead drainage design projects from its Houston office. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of civil engineering and drainage design experience, strong TxDOT PS&E knowledge, and a Texas PE license or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment.

This position will manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, client relationships, and technical staff while mentoring junior team members and overseeing the production of high-quality designs and plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• 10 or more years of strong experience in engineering drainage design and plan production
• Experience developing Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) for TxDOT projects
• Texas PE license
• 3 or more years of experience in project management and client service
• 3 or more years of experience in managing and mentoring junior staff
• Experience using MicroStation and GEOPAK
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with MicroStation Subsurface Utility Design and Analysis (SUDA)
• Experience with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS
• Familiarity with 2d modeling principles and applications
