About the Role
Join a small, fast-moving team developing real-time electronic control systems for hypersonic flight vehicles. You will own flight-critical hardware from initial design through validation and integration.
What You'll Do
- Design control electronics boards, including motor controllers, actuator drivers, and feedback and control loops.
- Own hardware end to end, from PCB design and bring-up through debugging, integration, and production.
- Develop microcontroller, microprocessor, and mixed-signal circuits for processing and real-time control.
- Work closely with guidance, navigation, and control, avionics, and flight software teams on system integration.
- Define requirements and make technical decisions across the hardware lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Three to 15 years of experience designing control or power electronics hardware, including motor drivers or actuator controllers.
- A bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience designing, bringing up, and debugging control or power electronics PCB assemblies, including analog or mixed-signal circuits.
- PCB schematic capture and layout experience; Altium is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, ARM microcontrollers, CAN, DDR, FPGA, and embedded C.
- Experience in a startup or other fast-paced hardware environment, with background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or other high-reliability systems.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $150,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
