Pending Contract Award Mission Objectives
Support the digital transformation of PAE Fires by ensuring efficient, compliant, and highly accurate asset management for the organization. This key role oversees the accountability of a diverse equipment inventory exceeding $5.5 million, facilitating the tracking, transport, secure storage, and disposal of equipment that is vital to the PAE Fires mission and its 3,500 users.
Position Responsibility Summary
Provide on-site Asset Management encompassing the complete equipment inventory of nonexpendable, expendable, and durable Government equipment for one Hand Receipt Holder (HRH), monitoring over 2,400 active and 9,000 inactive/archived items. Coordinate with the Installation Property Book Office to input and manage required equipment items valued over the $500 threshold into the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Manage and track all IT equipment via the internally maintained Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS) database. Execute asset management strictly in accordance with Army regulations including AR 710-1, AR 710-2, AR 710-3, DA PAM 735-5, AR 735-5, AR 25-1, AR 71-32, and the PAE Fires Property SOP.
Receive new equipment, verify delivery accuracy, apply barcodes, store equipment in designated locations, and transport equipment to the appropriate users. Prepare required documentation for newly purchased items, property transfers, transport between locations, and turn-in/disposal of existing property. Conduct stringent recurring physical audits, including 100% Sensitive Item Inventories monthly, 25% property inventories quarterly, and a 100% full inventory annually.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Experience
Demonstrated experience handling on-site physical IT asset management, touch-labor equipment transport, and complex IT inventory reconciliation. Hands-on experience utilizing and maintaining tracking data in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS) or comparable high-level Federal databases. In-depth, applied knowledge of Army supply systems and property accountability (AR 710-1/2/3, DA PAM 735-5).
Education and Credentials
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications: Compliant with DoDM 8140.03/DCWF proficiency standards. Must obtain Antiterrorism (AT) Level I awareness training within 30 days of performance start.
Years of Experience
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive asset/configuration management experience.

Prior experience acting as a Hand Receipt Holder (HRH) or direct support to an HRH for the Department of the Army. Prior logistics or IT asset experience providing support to PAE Fires, Army Aviation and Missile commands, or similar Joint Forces organizations in a classified enclave. Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies as they relate to configuration management.
Optional/Value-Added Additional Credentials
Education: Master’s Degree in a related field. Certifications/Training: Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) or ITIL Foundations v3/v4 certification. Experience: 10+ years of DoD Configuration Management/Asset Logistics experience.

Work Arrangement
On-site (embedded within the OCIO); situational telework may be authorized on a case-by-case basis with COR/KO approval.
Travel Requirements
CONUS travel may be required; all travel requires prior written COR approval per JTR/FAR 31.205-46.
