Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex application implementations, from requirements discovery through solution validation and business acceptance.

  • Develop and maintain clear business and functional requirements, process maps, use cases, acceptance criteria, and supporting specifications.
  • Own requirements traceability and change impact analysis, ensuring approved requirements remain aligned with project scope, solution design, testing, and deployment.

  • Evaluate proposed application solutions against operational requirements; identify functional gaps, integration dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Application Support, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, vendors, and business stakeholders to coordinate requirements and resolve cross-functional dependencies.
  • Lead business analysis activities supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scenarios, acceptance criteria, requirements validation, defect clarification, and business sign-off readiness.
  • Support implementation readiness, including business process changes, operating procedures, user documentation, and training requirements in collaboration with responsible teams.
  • Provide clear status updates on requirements, decisions, risks, and outstanding issues; escalate matters requiring leadership direction.
  • Promote consistent business analysis practices, documentation quality, and knowledge sharing; provide guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts.
  • Handle multiple initiatives and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy, stakeholder alignment, and delivery commitments.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant Business Analyst or Systems Analyst experience, including significant responsibility for complex enterprise application implementations.
  • Experience working across the full application delivery lifecycle, including requirements, solution design, UAT, deployment, and operational transition.
  • Strong knowledge of requirements elicitation, business process mapping, functional specifications, requirements traceability, and change impact analysis.
  • Ability to understand application integrations, data flows, system dependencies, and the operational implications of technical decisions.
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops, influence stakeholders, resolve competing priorities, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience defining UAT acceptance criteria and test scenarios and supporting defect resolution and business acceptance.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to work independently across multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated customer focus, collaboration, adaptability, initiative, integrity, and willingness to coach less-experienced colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, healthcare, construction, or other highly regulated environments with extensive compliance requirements.
  • Experience working in complex multi-system operating environments.
  • Familiarity with POS, PMS, and CMS applications. These qualifications are preferred but not required.
