This role is for an AI Engineer who thinks deeply about leveraging artificial intelligence to proactively solve business problems and scale our people’s capabilities. Our AI Engineers are responsible for designing, building, deploying, and supporting AI-powered systems including intelligent agents, copilots, retrieval systems, and machine learning solutions. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Product, and Business teams to deliver AI solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Senior AI Engineer Responsibilities

• Design solutions with empathy for the end user
• Design and implement intelligent agents, copilots, and AI workflows
• Build and support production RAG systems and enterprise knowledge solutions
• Evaluate and improve AI system quality, reliability, and effectiveness
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Software Engineering teams to operationalize AI solutions
• Implement AI observability, testing, and evaluation frameworks
• Partner with product teams to determine technical feasibility of AI initiatives
• Write reliable, well-structured, and tested systems in a CI/CD environment
• Design and implement best practices for AI engineering and agent development
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation
• Lead projects managing dependencies and timelines for delivery
• Independently capable of delivering features and work tasks

Qualifications

Qualifications Required

• Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years building and deploying AI-powered applications
• Expertise with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent development
• Expertise with Python and modern software development practices
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems
• Experience deploying and supporting AI systems in production
• Experience with modern REST APIs and cloud platforms
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers
• Experience with pull requests, code reviews, and multi-environment deployments

Preferred

• Experience with multi-agent architectures
• Experience with Databricks, AWS AI services, or Azure AI services
• Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
• Experience fine-tuning models or implementing advanced evaluation frameworks
