Senior accountant/senior accounting consultant/accounting manager (netsuite)

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for a 2-3 month contract engagement with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
• Assist with financial reporting and general ledger activities
• Extract, validate, and analyze financial data for ongoing system implementations and process improvements
• Partner with accounting and project teams to ensure data accuracy during system-related initiatives
• Support ad hoc accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite is required
• Experience supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ability to pull, analyze, and manipulate accounting data from ERP systems
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, system conversions, or data migration projects is highly preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
