Scientific technician ii

The Maru’s Lab is looking to expand and hire someone in a Lab manager / Technician role. Our lab conducts basic and translational research in pancreatic cancer, trying to understand how stromal and immune cells communicate in the tumor microenvironment and influence treatment response. Techniques in the lab span from vitro assays with pancreatic cancer cell lines in 2D and 3D cultures to in vivo mouse models to translational studies with patient samples. Experience in mouse work and flow cytometry would be preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Physical or Biological Sciences Required
• Master's Degree Physical or Biological Sciences Preferred or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 2 years experience working as a Scientific Technician I at FCCC or equivalent experience Required
• General Experience and familiarity with common lab tools and equipment Preferred
