At Boston Speech Therapy, we are seeking a School Nurse for a full-time contract position at a school in Athol, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalized nursing care and support to students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and medical support to the students.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and authorized.
• Assess and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.

Valid nursing license with current CPR and First Aid certification

Prior experience working as a School Nurse or in a similar healthcare setting

Knowledge of pediatric health conditions and treatments

Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and organizational skills
