Chef Link has been serving restaurants, hotels, chefs, and foodservice operations throughout Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico for more than 20 years. We're looking for a full-time Sales Representative who knows the restaurant and hospitality world and wants to put that experience to work in a new way. Restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or commercial kitchen experience is required. Sales experience is not. We can teach you sales. We can teach you our products and systems. What we're looking for is someone who already understands the foodservice industry and the people we serve.

What You'll Do

You'll work directly with restaurant owners, chefs, managers, hotels, and other foodservice professionals to help them find the equipment and supplies they need to run their businesses. You'll:

• Build relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts
• Help customers in our showroom, over the phone, and by email
• Learn what customers need and recommend the right products
• Prepare quotes and follow up on sales opportunities
• Learn our commercial equipment, smallwares, tabletop, disposables, and supply lines
• Become a knowledgeable, trusted resource for our customers
• Work with the rest of our team to make sure customers are taken care of from start to finish

This is relationship-based sales—not high-pressure selling. We want customers to come back because they trust us and know we'll take care of them.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you've worked as a restaurant or hotel manager, chef, sous chef, kitchen manager, catering professional, experienced server or bartender, or in another commercial foodservice environment. We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly and comfortable talking with all kinds of people
• Dependable and excellent at following through
• Organized and attentive to details
• Curious and interested in learning
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Able to work independently while also being part of a small team
• Genuinely interested in helping customers and building long-term relationships

At least one year of restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or commercial kitchen experience is required.
