Maintain a strong focus on Business Travel (BT) sales, actively prospecting, soliciting, and developing new corporate accounts to increase negotiated room nights, weekday occupancy, and overall room revenue. Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in writing, to previous, current, and prospective clients, with a focus on corporate accounts, business travelers, negotiated rates, and repeat business. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, in-person sales visits, client meetings, and ongoing account development. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, corporate travel decision-makers, travel managers, and key account contacts to generate consistent business travel production. Manage account details to ensure all aspects of solicitation, negotiation, follow-up, and closing are completed, documented, and maintained accurately in the appropriate sales systems. Coordinate with various hotel departments to ensure successful account servicing, a seamless guest experience, and strong client satisfaction that encourages repeat business. Develop and deliver persuasive verbal and written sales presentations tailored to prospective clients, highlighting the hotel's amenities, services, location, and value proposition. Travel locally to conduct outside sales calls, attend networking events, build community partnerships, and promote the hotel's business travel offerings. Establish and maintain a structured sales call schedule, ensuring consistent outreach to existing accounts, prospective corporate clients, and inactive accounts with opportunities for renewed business. Monitor account production, negotiated rate performance, room-night commitments, and business travel revenue to identify opportunities for growth and ensure sales goals are achieved and exceeded. Review competitor activity, pricing, negotiated corporate rates, and market positioning to maintain competitiveness and identify opportunities to capture additional business. Maintain working knowledge of industry trends, market demand, seasonal patterns, corporate travel needs, and local business developments that may impact hotel performance. Collaborate with hotel leadership and revenue management to develop and execute sales strategies that support occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), RevPAR, and total revenue objectives. Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, account updates, sales activity records, and business development plans to track progress against established goals. Consistently pursue opportunities to increase market share, strengthen account retention, generate new business, and contribute to the overall financial success of the hotel.
