First Day Homecare NJ is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric client in the comfort of their home.

We have up to 12 hours of nursing coverage available daily, and we are happy to work with qualified nurses who prefer shorter shifts or flexible schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one nursing care to a pediatric client.
• Follow physician orders and the individualized plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor the client's condition and communicate changes to the clinical team.
• Provide specialized pediatric nursing care based on client needs, training, and applicable scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the client's family, physicians, and Clinical Supervisor to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Pediatric or private duty nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and documentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable providing one-on-one care.

Schedule and Availability

Up to 12 hours of coverage available each day.

Flexible shift lengths may be accommodated.

Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Scheduling based on nurse availability.
