MU Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team. In this fast-paced critical care environment, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from complex surgical procedures and those facing life-threatening conditions. You will continuously assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient status while collaborating closely with surgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members. Your expertise in critical care interventions, pain management, medication administration, and advanced monitoring techniques will help ensure the highest quality outcomes. You will also play a key role in educating patients and their families, providing support during challenging times, and promoting understanding of treatment plans. By evaluating patient responses and adapting care plans as needed, you will contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. If you are dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a collaborative and innovative environment, we invite you to join our SICU team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
