Registered Nurse | Surgical & Digestive Care Unit

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 24-bed Surgical & Digestive Care Unit in the beautiful Coulee Region of Wisconsin. This is an exciting opportunity to care for a diverse surgical, digestive, and Intermediate Care (IMC) patient population while advancing your clinical skills in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

What You Will Work

0.8 FTE | 64 hours every two weeks
Rotating 8-hour day (6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) and PM (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) shifts
Every other weekend and holiday

What You Will Do

Provide Love + Medicine to surgical patients and those requiring medically managed digestive care. This unit cares for patients undergoing abdominal, vascular, urology, otolaryngology (ENT), trauma, bariatric, and plastic surgeries, among others.
Care for patients across a range of acuity levels, including Intermediate Care (IMC) patients requiring enhanced monitoring, advanced nursing assessment, and timely clinical intervention.
Deliver comprehensive care to complex patient populations, including those recovering from Whipple procedures, patients with sepsis, DVT with sheath, and those undergoing TCAR procedures.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, advanced practice clinicians, social workers, dietitians, CNAs, and fellow RNs.

What You Need

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Current RN licensure in Wisconsin upon hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
New graduate and experienced RNs are encouraged to apply
Surgical, digestive care, or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
