Rn manager - infection prevention & employee health

Lutheran Home is excited to offer an opportunity for an RN to join our team as the Infection Preventionist and Employee Health Nurse! The RN will assist with the leadership and direction of the nursing department with a focus on infection prevention and the ongoing health and safety of staff and residents. Interested candidate should be motivated, passionate about staff education and dedicated to our mission and “4 C’s.”

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide nursing care within RN scope.
• Create, implement and update infection prevention plans
• Manage the employee health and safety program

Hours for the position are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Requirements for the position:

• Registered Nurse (RN) preferred licensed in the state of Wisconsin
• Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with peers
• 3-years of experience in a senior care setting preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records
