Full-Time – 36 hours/week - Nights 7pm-7am

Location: Temple, TX.

What we need:

We’re currently seeking full-time experienced (12 Months+) Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

This 38-bed Cardiac telemetry-monitored nursing unit offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients, ranging from Adults to Geriatrics. The conditions that are within the scope of service for the cardiac telemetry unit include, but are not limited to, the following:

Stable Cardiac medical conditions such as:

• Cardiac Ablations
• Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (Watchman)
• Permanent Pacemaker Placement
• Chest Pain
• Congestive Heart Failure
• Vascular Interventions
• Percutaneous Cardiac Interventions

Stable Neurological Conditions such as:

• Stable Stroke
• Seizure
• Weakness
• syncope

Integration with the Organization:

The Cardiac Care Unit works closely with multidisciplinary teams across social services, case management, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and dietary services. Patient care in the Cardiac Care Unit is grounded in evidence-based best practices to ensure quality care. Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
