Job Description

The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) serves as a clinical resource and role model for professional practice on primarily the off shift and weekends. The CRN supports and assists with clinical, administrative and emergency needs throughout the Emergency Department. The CRN possesses excellent skills in clinical decision making and practice, communication, and interpersonal interactions. The CRN supports the professional growth and knowledge of the novice nurse through excellence in teaching, coaching and mentoring. The CRN coordinates operational issues to maintain patient safety and efficiency of care. The CRN serves as a liaison to providers, manager staff, unit staff, providers and external customers.

Schedule: Looking for weekends Friday - Saturday Days or Nights.

PAY RANGE: $105,300.80 - $132,216.00 *The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Experience: 3-5 years recent RN expertise in an Emergency Department. BS in Nursing required. Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers preferred).
