Residential Counselor – Foglia CILA

A CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is a group home style living arrangement for adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities. Clearbrook currently has 50+ CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each. Clearbrook is committed to being a leader in creating innovative opportunities, services, and supports for people with disabilities.

Location: Mettawa, IL

Hours: Part-Time Schedule: Friday 2pm-Saturday 10am & Sunday 9pm-Monday 10am (33 hrs/week)

Pay: $21.35/hr + Paid Training!

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned. Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources. Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping. Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.

Qualifications Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license required. Must be 21 years of age.
