• Weekly pay: $2,119/wk
• Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)
• Shift: 4x12 hours (48 hrs/wk); Day 6:45-19:15, Day 11:00-23:00, Evening 15:00-3:00 or Night 18:45-7:15
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: 11/16/2026

About the assignment

• Emergency department, about 250 visits/day, 101 beds; ratios 1:3-1:5
• Floating required between Emergency Observation and Emergency Behavioral Health
• Weekends: minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week schedule, up to every other weekend
• No block scheduling; no RTO after booking
• First-time travelers and locals accepted
• Epic and Pyxis; 24 hours of unit orientation
• Must pass EKG testing before start
• Scrubs: navy/white

Requirements

• Active North Carolina RN license (compact accepted)
• 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS and MOAB
• Skills: IV starts, triage and telemetry
