Registered nurse (rn) | long-term care | $55/hr

Heartline Staffing is recruiting Registered Nurses for opportunities at South Mountain Restoration Center, a long-term care facility in South Mountain, Pennsylvania. Registered Nurses will provide skilled nursing care while working with physicians, nursing assistants, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.

ABOUT THE RESIDENTS

Residents require nursing-home care and may have dementia, chronic physical or mental health conditions, or histories of serious psychiatric illness. Care is individualized with a focus on supporting resident health, dignity, and independence.

COMPENSATION

• $55.00 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Assess residents and identify nursing-care needs.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor resident responses.
• Coordinate nursing care with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direction to nursing assistants and other care staff involved in resident care.
• Document resident assessments, interventions, treatments, and changes in condition.
• Follow established infection-control, safety, and emergency-response procedures.

Requirements

• Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania REQUIRED
• Minimum 6 months of Registered Nurse experience REQUIRED
• Ability to provide skilled nursing care in a long-term care setting REQUIRED
• Strong resident-assessment skills REQUIRED
• Strong clinical documentation skills REQUIRED
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary care team REQUIRED
