In this role, you will assist customers in navigating record access, resolving account issues and maintaining confidentiality and integrity of information in accordance with Oregon’s privacy laws. A day in the life:

• Process and maintain Record Inquiry Accounts.
• Research and answer questions by phone or email from current account holders asking about their account. This includes everything from issues logging into the system, password resets, error messages, billing issues and other general inquiries.
• Answer questions from prospective account holders regarding the application process, available services and records.
• Accept and review applications and apply payments to accounts.
• Provide support to the Confidential Records Desk and Law Enforcement Desk by answering phones, responding to questions and processing requests.

Work is primarily performed in a typical office environment and requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Occasional travel may be required for training and meetings.

Comprehensive and equitable base salary offer within the listed range. Through an equal pay assessment, we will determine the salary offer using the information you provide in your submitted application materials. The salary range listed is the non-PERS monthly salary range. If you are already a participating PERS member or once you become PERS eligible, the salary range will increase by 6.95%.

Minimum qualifications:

• Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
• OR
• An associate’s degree in any field.
• OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
