Radiology Administrator

Drive the delivery of top-notch Radiology services at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The scope of this role includes the radiology access center, pre-certification team, registrars for all radiology areas. The administrator oversees all of radiology scheduling (including direct scheduling performed by service line ASRs), physician services / support / coverage, quality assurance, daily patient flow and scheduling templates for CT, MRI, IR, US, Xray and Breast Imaging.

This is a full-time position, working Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Preferred Criteria:

• Master’s degree in business or health care

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years’ related work experience in finance and health care managing large and complex organizations, including physician clinical practices
• Relevant experience in health care, particularly at an academic medical center. Significant management experience in a faculty-driven environment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences among related projects, as well as a broad knowledge of the clinical teaching, educational requirements, human resources practices, ambulatory practice billing.
