Position Summary

The Purchasing Data Coordinator is responsible for support the clerical and data activities of the Supply Chain team. You will manage approved Supplier Lists and ensure database of approved suppliers is updated to match supplier files and information. The coordinator also contacts suppliers on expiring documents and certifications. You'll also review New Supplier forms for accuracy and completeness, and work with those suppliers to complete any documentation gaps.

What You'll Do as a Purchasing Data Coordinator

• Manage approval and set-up process for new Suppliers.
• Maintain reports on missing or open files, and on New Supplier set-up time.
• Identify, participate and implement continuous improvement activities to impact overall purchasing areas quality, cost, and delivery initiatives.
• Maintains standard work documentation and Quality System procedures to ensure compliance.
• Participate in the identification and implementation of root cause and corrective action ideas.
• Processes non-inventory (MRO) and Internal Sales orders (ISO’s) utilizing and Oracle. Prints, Sorts, Distributes Purchase Orders, Requisitions and other purchasing reports to appropriate personnel.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks to ensure timely completion of job responsibilities.

Preferred:

• Minimum two years College Education preferred.
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft EXCEL, Microsoft WORD, and Oracle preferred.
• Direct hands on experience in an MRP systems environment preferred.
• Key competencies include sound business judgment and decision making.
• Prior Materials Management, Supply Chain, Inventory Coordinator experienced preferred.

Pay range for this opportunity is $40,165 - $49,600. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
