Day shift, 08:00-16:30, with every other weekend requirements.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will work within the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Mercy Hospital Pittsburg. This facility supports a patient population of 18 years and older, focusing on inpatient rehabilitation, particularly for orthopedics and neurology. You will work with a variety of equipment and assist patients in their recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement treatment protocols for patients recovering from orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Document patient progress using the Epic electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed.

Required Experience

Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MSPT/DPT). Certifications/Licensure Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas is preferred.
