Job Description:

L3Harris’ Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Production Support person to join our team. The Production Coordinator will assist the department supervisor/manager with coordination of work assignments, training new employees and completion of daily reports and paperwork. Handles various production issues and is the resource to others for resolution of complex problems and issues. Leads others effectively and gains cooperation without having formal authority over them. Acts as the point of contact for questions in their assigned area. The Operations Lead is not responsible for issuing disciplinary action but will provide input regarding employee performance and conduct.

Essential Functions:

• Effectively communicate with all employees in a professional manner.
• Maintain data charts, factory metrics boards, and other pertinent information.
• Coordinate the production test lines including running production and work with relevant others to mitigate all risks.
• Assist in maintaining department compliance with policies, procedures, and standards including training sign off team personnel.
• Ensure team members are properly trained for assigned duties, including cross training and completion of required training.
• Work closely with supervisors and engineering to develop efficient techniques to maximize throughput.
• Actively participate in factory meetings and serve as a resource in the resolution of problems and issues related to production.
• Support and promote Lean Manufacturing efforts including 5S, Gemba.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior production experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior production experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Familiar with Oracle EBS.
• Previous experience training others.
• Able to operate and train others on test equipment.
• Trained on In-Circuit Test (ICT).
• 2 years Previous experience training others.
• 6 years relative experience to manufacturing.

Salary Information:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $19.95-$36.78.
