Position Description:

Creates and analyzes datasets in support of complex business objectives using data visualization tools (Tableau or Adobe Analytics) and platforms (Snowflake). Leverages data to drive better business decision-making through statistical, econometric modeling, and machine learning techniques. Acquires data from multiple sources/environments and transform it so it can be used for analytics. Creates, manipulates and transforms large data sets using SQL, Python and R. Provides analytics leadership on complex participant journeys across channels and platforms, in a matrix organization. Consults with business users to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities.

• Participates in analytics architecture development and design teams.
• Develops and delivers analytical data and insights to solve business problems.
• Enables partner stakeholders to make objective, informed decisions.
• Leads analytics projects across multiple platforms.
• Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.
• Provides opportunities for innovation through analytics capabilities and implementation of new technologies.
• Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
• Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues.
• Advises senior management on analytic strategy.
• Acts as a subject matter expert on digital analytics and mentors junior team members.
• Leverages qualitative data to identify opportunity areas.
• Designs and implements models to accurately assess the impact of marketing efforts across channels.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Business Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing business analysis using Snowflake within a financial services environment. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Business Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing business analysis using Snowflake within a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing advanced data, statistical, and predictive modeling with data mining hypotheses across web, mobile, email, and phone channels, using Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Python, and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to find customer behavior trends.
• DE performing web and app analytics using cross-channel analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Content Square Analysis) within digital customer engagement environments in financial services; and supporting marketers and business partners through user experience (UX) metrics, Clickstream data, and technical documentation to inform process optimization and dashboard/reporting results for product improvement.
• DE performing data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, or ThinkCell for Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and Business-to-Business (B2B) digital products; enabling data consumption for stakeholders by interactive trends, automated reporting pipelines, and self-service analytical solutions; and integrating and transforming data from Google BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, or Snowflake to support targeted marketing campaigns, business performance analysis, and operational decision-making.
• DE performing experimentation and optimization of business processes or digital products using A/B testing, multivariate testing, cohort analysis, or Adobe Target; and coordinating requirement workflows and analyzing the product management lifecycle, using JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, or MS Visio, to support workplace investing initiatives.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
