Preschool Lead Teacher - EEC Certified

The Learning Experience - Andover, MA

Pay: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Andover is seeking an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who loves helping young children become confident, curious, and increasingly independent learners.

As a Lead Teacher, you'll take ownership of your classroom while creating engaging experiences that build early academic skills, friendships, creativity, communication, and kindergarten readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Preschool classroom routines and learning activities
  • Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
  • Create engaging experiences supporting literacy, math, language, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
  • Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
  • Observe and document children's development
  • Guide and support Assistant Teachers
  • Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
  • Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Preschool Lead Teacher
  • Previous professional preschool or early childhood classroom experience required
  • Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and children's development
