Plant Manager, Truss and Wall Panel Manufacturing

Our client, an established wood component manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead day-to-day operations at its truss and wall panel facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows component manufacturing well and wants full ownership of safety, production, quality, and profitability.

What You'll Do

• Lead all plant operations across the roof truss, floor truss, and wall panel departments
• Build and manage the plant budget, set short- and long-term goals, and plan for equipment needs
• Schedule production to hit delivery dates, optimize lead times, and control costs
• Recruit, train, and develop the production team, and staff to meet demand
• Purchase and forecast lumber, plates, EWP, and hangers to keep inventory aligned with production
• Make sure every product meets quality standards and building codes
• Drive a strong safety culture, including OSHA compliance, equipment maintenance, and regular safety training
• Work closely with sales, design, and logistics to meet customer expectations

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of component manufacturing experience covering roof truss, floor truss, and wall panels
• Alpine engineering software and E-shop plant management software experience (preferred)
• Strong organizational and people leadership skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to pick up new software quickly
• Comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
