Perform treatments and provide exercise instruction and demonstration for Atchison Hospital patients receiving physical therapy as inpatients, outpatients, and Home Health/Hospice.

Qualifications:

Education: High School or GED, 2 year/Associate Degree, BLS License/Certification, Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Kansas licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. Twenty CEUs every 2 years to maintain licensure.

Physical Requirements:

Medium work-Exert up to 50lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Have clarity of vision: Mid (>20=-<20=). Stand for 1-2 hours per day, Sit for 1 hour per day, Walk for 7-8 hours per day, Perform repetitive tasks/motions, Distinguish colors, Hear alarms/telephones/tape recorders/normal speaking voice, Have good manual dexterity, Have good eye/hand/foot coordination.
