Physical therapist

Currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to work in our beautiful facility in our Henderson skilled nursing facility. As the Physical Therapist, you will do evaluations and follow the individualized plan of care for each resident. As a Physical Therapist, you must be able to treat the deficits in adult & geriatric patients. The goals may be to restore function or prevent further decline due to chronic illness. Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate patients and create a plan of care
• Ability to complete weekly progress notes
• Supervise PTA's
• Attend patient/family meetings

Requirements Include:

1. Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
2. State license to practice physical therapy required.
3. Interest in physical therapy in geriatrics, short term, and long term care
4. Demonstrate Independence after training.
5. Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
6. Ability to work well with residents, families, and other staff members required.
