Pharmacy accountant - full time

The Pharmacy Accountant supports the financial administration of the hospital’s retail pharmacy including the 340B Drug Pricing Program. Reporting, contract pharmacy accounting, and maintenance of accurate program records. Prepare pharmacy reports, journal entries and post pharmacy payments. Reconcile 340B purchases, accounts receivable, dispensing activity, inventory, and contract pharmacy transactions. Support audits and ensure financial records and documentation aligned with hospital policies and 340B program requirements. Work directly with the hospital pharmacist and retail pharmacist to support 340B pharmacy accounting and reconciliation activities. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or associate’s degree in business administration or related field. Minimum of two years of accounting experience; healthcare, pharmacy, or 340B experience is a plus. Strong analytical, reconciliation, organizational, and Microsoft Excel skills with a strong commitment to attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across hospital departments.
