Job Summary

We are looking for Weekend-Only Home Care Aides to join our team! Shifts range from 4, 6, or 8 hours. Morning and evenings available. You will be following a one-on-one care plan in patients' homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but also building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. You must be able to work with pets.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in patient care
• Must have reliable transportation
• Driver’s license required
• Must be able to pass background and drug testing
• Must receive TB and Flu vaccination within 30 days
• CPR certification required
