Location: Lincoln, NE
Service Line: Hillcrest Firethorn
Schedule: Part-Time
Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Physical Therapist (PT) to join our therapy team at Hillcrest Firethorn in Lincoln, NE.
This part-time opportunity is a great fit for an experienced Physical Therapist or a new graduate looking to begin their career in a supportive environment. If you enjoy helping people regain strength, mobility, confidence, and independence, we would love to connect with you. New grads are encouraged to apply!
At Hillcrest, our mission is simple: Inspiring people to live their best lives. As a Physical Therapist, you will help bring that mission to life by helping residents move better, feel stronger, and reach the highest level of function possible.
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans of care, and provide skilled therapy services designed to improve mobility, safety, and independence.
We are looking for a Physical Therapist who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine ability to connect with people.
The right candidate will be patient, encouraging, and motivated by helping residents make meaningful progress. Whether you are an experienced therapist or just starting your career, you should be comfortable learning, collaborating, and becoming part of an interdisciplinary team.
Ideal candidates will have:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required.
Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the State of Nebraska required.
Current CPR/BLS certification as required.
Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, senior living, rehabilitation, or a similar setting preferred.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Physical therapy is about more than completing exercises.
It is helping someone walk safely again. Regain enough strength to return home. Feel confident getting out of a chair. Participate in the activities they enjoy. Or simply maintain as much independence as possible.
At Hillcrest Firethorn, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with residents, gain valuable hands-on experience, and see the progress your work helps create.
With a part-time schedule, you can enjoy additional flexibility while still doing meaningful clinical work and building your therapy career.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Must be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with providing therapy services.
Must be able to assist residents with transfers, mobility, positioning, and therapeutic activities.
Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and movement throughout the workday.
Must be able to remain calm and flexible when resident needs or priorities change.
Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Must be able to utilize electronic documentation systems and other healthcare technology.
Must follow established infection-control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
Other duties as assigned.
Whether you are an experienced Physical Therapist or a new grad ready to take the next step, we would love to meet you.
Join Hillcrest Firethorn as a Part-Time Physical Therapist and help us continue inspiring people to live their best lives by helping residents move forward—one goal at a time.
