Now Hiring: Packaging Equipment Engineer

Location: Groveport, Ohio

kdc/one is looking for a skilled Packaging Equipment Engineer to optimize filling line performance, improve manufacturing efficiency, and support new equipment and technology initiatives. If you enjoy solving complex problems, driving continuous improvement, and making a measurable impact on production, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase line efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to support daily manufacturing operations.
Lead Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and performance.
Support equipment selection, installation, testing, and qualification for new projects and process improvements.
Track performance metrics and report on improvement projects and results.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and other teams to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Support new product launches, capacity expansions, and the implementation of innovative technologies, including 3D printing and scanning.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment; FDA-regulated experience preferred.
Experience with OEE, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related engineering tools.
Familiarity with 3D printing, 3D scanning, or other advanced manufacturing technologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
