Overview

Responsibilities

In collaboration with a Physician, assumes total patient care for designated patients. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery. CRNP V 7 On/7Off works independently and bills under their own provider number the majority of the time.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited program of advanced practice nursing or Graduation from an accredited program for Physician’s Assistant
• Advanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of nursing service

Licensure/Registration/Certification:

• One of the following:
• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*
• *Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama
• CRNP credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and collaboration with physician approved by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners
• After June 1, 2012, ACLS or BLS is required for hire
