About This Job

The Overlay Analyst is responsible for executing portfolio management directives and supporting the operational processes necessary to maintain model-driven investment strategies. This role serves as a key link between portfolio management, trading, operations, and client service teams by implementing portfolio changes, coordinating rebalancing activities, resolving trading exceptions, and ensuring account-level investment changes are accurately executed.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute portfolio model changes and implement CIO-directed investment strategy updates.
  • Coordinate portfolio rebalancing activities and monitor completion of trading activities.
  • Research, resolve, and escalate account-level trading exceptions and portfolio discrepancies.
  • Support client account onboarding, transfers, restrictions, and investment preference changes.
  • Ensure portfolio allocations remain aligned with approved models, investment objectives, and client restrictions.
  • Partner with portfolio management, trading, operations, and client service teams to facilitate investment-related account maintenance.
  • Monitor portfolio implementation activity and assist with quality control reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation supporting portfolio changes and trading activities.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives designed to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and audit requests related to portfolio management activities.
