Optometry Technician

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an Optometry Technician to support vision care and military medical readiness at Reid Medical Clinic.

Position Highlights

• Monday–Friday schedule
• No nights, weekends, or federal holidays
• Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits

Position Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross; hands-on training)
• Certified Paraoptometric (CPO), Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), or equivalent preferred
• Ability to perform clinical vision screenings and maintain accurate records

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual acuity and preliminary vision testing
• Assist optometrists with examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients and maintain optometry equipment
• Document results and support military vision readiness screenings
