Occupational therapist

Valley County Health System is seeking a PRN or Contract-based Occupational Therapist to assist in our Rehabilitation Services department.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services.

• Performs and maintains documentation.
• Attends continuing education courses to increase knowledge and to meet state requirements.
• Coordinates and oversees workload and patient care.
• Understands and enforces related regulations and laws which govern the performance of the services being provided.

Candidates should possess proven independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current applicable Occupational Therapy licensure for the state of Nebraska
• Previous experience preferred.
• Demonstrated safe and appropriate care within the standards of practice
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with computers required.
