Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients with physical, developmental, cognitive, or functional limitations. The Occupational Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans and help patients improve their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, developmental, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve mobility, coordination, strength, balance, and daily living skills.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, and functional mobility.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and home modifications when appropriate.
• Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy programs and home exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, facility, and professional standards.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Eligible for or current NBCOT certification (OTR), as required by the state/employer.
• Current BLS/CPR certification, if required by the facility.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients of different ages and clinical conditions.
• Previous healthcare or clinical experience preferred.
