WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS ROLE?

The Project Associate Per Diem provides temporary project coordination and operational support for the Brawerman Nursing Institute’s strategic projects focused on enterprise-wide change management across Cedars-Sinai. The incumbent works collaboratively with operational leaders, project stakeholders, and fellowship participants to support continuity, execution, and scalability of project deliverables while maintaining timelines and communication standards.

• Supports day-to-day coordination activities and needs for special projects within the Geri and Richard Brawerman Nursing Institute by partnering with all key stakeholders to manage the deployment and completion of all aspects and stages of the project.
• Develops and documents project milestones, action items, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholder groups and assists with implementation and follow-up activities related to the project.
• Monitors project progress and escalates delays, barriers, or operational concerns to leadership as appropriate.
• Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas, documents discussion outcomes, and maintains project documentation repositories.
• Organizes and maintains project-related data, reports, dashboards, and assessment materials associated with enterprise heat mapping activities.
• Supports preparation of presentations, summaries, and status updates for leadership review and stakeholder meetings.
• Anticipates Project needs and serves as the key personnel for achieving anticipated results.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's Degree required. Preferred qualification is a Doctoral Degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in California preferred
• PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred
• Six Sigma Certified required

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years of Program or Project Management, Project support and/or leadership experience required
