About Us:
At Conservative Care Occupational Health (CCOH), we provide comprehensive occupational medicine, injury-care management, physical therapy, and urgent care services across multiple states. We partner with employers to keep workers safe, healthy, and productive, while providing patient-centered care with professionalism and compassion.
We are seeking a dedicated PRN APRN/Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys autonomy, collaborative teamwork, and a mission-driven environment focused on safe return-to-work care.
Position Summary:
As a APRN/Physician Assistant, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with work-related injuries and acute conditions, while coordinating care with clinical staff, therapy teams, and employer partners. This role involves performing occupational medical exams, managing treatment plans, and ensuring high standards of documentation, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct medical evaluations, injury assessments, follow-ups, and return-to-work exams.
- Diagnose and manage work-related injuries, minor illness, musculoskeletal issues, and urgent-care concerns.
- Develop treatment plans focused on safe functional recovery and timely return to duty.
- Perform DOT physicals, pre-employment physicals, IMEs, second opinions, and medical reviews (training available if needed).
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, labs, and specialty referrals when appropriate.
- Document clinical encounters thoroughly and accurately within the EMR.
- Collaborate with PT, clinic staff, and employer contacts regarding work restrictions and recovery progress.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, HIPAA, and state medical regulations.
- Provide leadership and clinical guidance to Medical Assistants, Therapy staff, and support teams.
- Contribute to quality improvement and workflow development across the clinic.
Clinic Schedule:
Our Little Rock Port & Russellville clinics operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with no weekend or holiday hours. This role would be hired for helping to support on-sites and any additional shifts as needed, between our Little Rock and Russellville clinics.
Benefits and Perks:
Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Supportive, team-oriented environment focused on professional development.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and active Tennessee state medical license.
- DOT NRCME certification.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
- Ability to diagnose, evaluate and manage musculoskeletal and work-related injuries.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient rapport.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to documentation accuracy, compliance, and ethical patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or workers’ comp.
- Experience with EMR documentation and productivity workflows.
