Setting: Outpatient / Inpatient

Hours: 40 hours a week, generally M-F with inpatient coverage and on-call weekends once in four weeks (rotating with other providers). Weeknight call rotation as well.

Overview: Position supports both general inpatient care of non-critical pulmonary patients and outpatient ambulatory practice patient sessions. Inpatient support hours: after hour calls & weekend & holiday coverage, as needed.

Duties: Treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area under the direction of the licensed physician. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis and the prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
