Position Summary

We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression.

In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensure there are carts ready and available. You will also assist our members helping them load their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you.

As a Member Assist Cart Attendant at Sam's Club, you’ll help set the tone for every member’s visit before they even walk through the doors. From a friendly greeting in the parking lot to a helping hand with purchases, your energy and attention to detail will help make the Weslaco club feel welcoming, organized, and ready to serve from day one.

In this role, you'll spend your day retrieving carts, assisting members with loading purchases, maintaining a clean and safe parking lot, and operating cart retrieval equipment while delivering a great member experience.

What You'll Do

• Organize and maintain availability of carts and flatbeds for members
• Assist members with transporting and loading purchases into their vehicles
• Operate cart retrieval equipment according to company policies and procedures
• Proactively identify members who need help, engage them, and provide friendly, helpful service
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness and a safe, well-kept exterior environment
• Conduct safety sweeps; follow procedures for handling merchandise; correct and report unsafe situations to management
• Properly maintain equipment and ensure carts and flatbeds are organized and stocked in the correct locations
• Promote Sam's Club products, services, and memberships throughout every interaction
