Resonate with Real Connection? Ready to Make a Rewarding Impact on Your Community? Let’s Talk! At WHA, our patients are our people. Together, we're a team passionate about humanizing healthcare. We envision a world where every person has access to achieve their optimal health and we're here to support that journey with personalized, culturally competent care and knowledge. We’re Oregon’s largest independent women’s health group—and we’re 100% clinician-led. Across 12 clinic locations and six hospitals in the Portland metro region, we care for more than 50,000 wonderful people each year through every stage of life.
Every patient experience begins with a welcome. We're hiring a Medical Receptionist to be the first friendly face patients see and the reassuring voice they hear when they call. Whether you're helping someone check in for a routine visit or supporting a patient through a more vulnerable moment, you'll help create an experience built on kindness, respect, and compassion. Our Medical Receptionists are the first point of contact for our new patients and the familiar voice to our current patients. Some have families to take care of, others have made, or may face, brave choices. We're here for all of them. And we'd love to welcome you!
We do our best to meet you where you are in terms of schedule; e.g., Consistent schedule, Saturday and early morning/evening opportunities, Hourly rate depending on experience and other helpful skills (e.g. bilingualism) *This is a 40 hr/week position, Monday-Friday, with some evenings and weekends required.
Opportunities to grow and develop personally and professionally through employee resource groups, Employee Assistance Program, Comprehensive onboarding and onsite mentorship by designated preceptor, plus anytime access to the central training team, Annual education budget (and the schedule flexibility to use it!), Incentives to take on more responsibility (such as preceptorship).
