Put your laboratory expertise to work supporting testing where patient care happens. Nebraska Medicine is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to coordinate point-of-care testing performed at the bedside and in clinics across our organization.
In this role, you’ll support reliable testing through staff training, competency assessments, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and test validations. You’ll partner with clinical teams to troubleshoot testing issues, support equipment and systems, and help implement testing in new locations.
You’ll work alongside a team of five coordinators in a shared office environment, with opportunities to collaborate and independently manage your responsibilities. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential for success. If you enjoy teaching, building relationships, and improving laboratory practices, this is an opportunity to expand the impact of your MLS experience.
