Why Compass of Hope
Compass of Hope is a growing multidisciplinary mental health practice committed to expanding access to innovative, evidence-based behavioral healthcare. Our services bring together therapy, psychiatric care, interventional treatments, and specialty programs within a collaborative clinical environment. For the right provider, this position offers the opportunity to have a meaningful influence not only on individual patient care, but on the quality, development, and direction of an entire medical department.
Medical Director (Psychiatry) PMHNP-BC or Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
Compass of Hope is seeking a highly experienced, ethical, and clinically strong psychiatric provider to serve as our Medical Director. This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced PMHNP-BC or Psychiatrist (MD/DO) who is passionate about maintaining high standards of psychiatric care while mentoring providers and strengthening clinical systems. The Medical Director will maintain a patient caseload while providing leadership and quality oversight across Compass of Hope’s medical services, including psychiatric medication management, Spravato® and ketamine services, GLP-1 treatment, and clinical review of FMLA and Emotional Support Animal (ESA) documentation requests. This position requires regular presence at both our Hooksett and Hampton, NH offices to ensure providers and medical staff have accessible, consistent leadership and support.
Key Responsibilities
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal Medical Director is someone who combines excellent clinical judgment with approachable leadership. We are looking for a provider who understands that medical leadership is more than reviewing charts—it means being present, identifying concerns early, developing providers, strengthening systems, and maintaining a consistently high standard of care. You should be comfortable making difficult clinical decisions, providing constructive feedback, developing policies, and holding providers accountable while also creating an environment where clinicians feel supported in asking questions and continuing to grow.
