CORPAY is currently looking to hire a Master Data Management & Vendor Success Leader within our Operations division. This position falls under our Corpay Payables’ Data & Analytics line of business and is located in Atlanta, Nashville, or Beaverton offices. In this role, you will responsible for the strategy, governance, quality, and day-to-day effectiveness of the master data that supports our business operations, while also overseeing the daily operations and execution of the Vendor Success team.
This leader will step into an established MDM function and Vendor Success operating model, taking ownership of teams whose work directly impacts real-time operational processes across Corpay Payables. The Leader will provide strategic direction while remaining close to the data, systems, workflows, partner activities, client enablement processes, and business operations required to identify issues, resolve root causes, and ensure critical data and vendor-related processes are accurate, trusted, accessible, and fit for purpose.
The Leader will define and advance the MDM strategy and operating model while partnering closely with Operations, Technology, Engineering, Product, Finance, Analytics, Vendor Success, and other business stakeholders. This role will be accountable for strengthening data governance and stewardship, improving data quality and consistency, advancing MDM and metadata capabilities, ensuring master data supports operational execution, analytics & reporting, and emerging AI use cases, and ensuring Vendor Success operations are well-controlled, measurable, and aligned to business priorities.
Success requires a leader who can move comfortably between executive-level strategy and detailed data and operational discussions; someone who can establish standards and direction, develop strong teams, influence across the organization, and roll up their sleeves when a business, data, partner, or client issue requires deeper investigation.
You will report directly to SVP of Operational Excellence and regularly collaborate with teams and departments.
As a Leader you will be expected to work in an office environment. CORPAY will set you up for success by providing:
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
8+ years of progressive experience in Master Data Management, data management, data governance, data quality, data engineering, enterprise data strategy, or related disciplines.
Significant leadership and people-management experience, including responsibility for developing and leading high-performing data teams.
Experience leading operational teams responsible for recurring daily, weekly, monthly, and ongoing execution across partner management, client support, reporting, escalations, and process improvement.
Demonstrated ability to establish operating discipline, SOPs, ownership models, performance metrics, and continuous-improvement routines for teams supporting complex business workflows.
Demonstrated experience leading, scaling, or materially advancing an enterprise MDM or data-governance program.
Strong understanding of MDM principles, data governance, stewardship, data ownership, data lifecycle management, data quality, metadata, lineage, classification, and related controls.
Hands-on experience working with large and complex datasets, including data profiling, cleansing, standardization, reconciliation, deduplication, root-cause investigation, and data-quality remediation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including the ability to move from high-level business issues into detailed data investigation when necessary.
Experience with MDM technologies, enterprise data platforms, and data integrations.
Working knowledge of SQL or comparable query and analytical techniques used to investigate and validate enterprise data.
Experience establishing measurable data-quality standards, KPIs, service-level expectations, scorecards, and remediation processes.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across Operations, Technology, Engineering, Analytics, Product, and other business functions.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional data initiatives and managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments.
Proven ability to communicate complex data and technology concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
Strong executive presence combined with a practical, hands-on leadership style and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and establish adoption of new governance standards, processes, technologies, and ways of working.
Experience within FinTech, payments, financial services, or another high-volume, transaction-oriented environment.
Experience with vendor success, vendor enablement, partner operations, payment-file review, campaign support, vendor matching, or related payables operations.
Experience with leading MDM platforms such as Informatica, Reltio, Atakama, Profisee, Syniti, or comparable enterprise technologies.
Familiarity with modern cloud and data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Microsoft Fabric.
Familiarity with Python or similar scripting capabilities used for data profiling, enrichment, analysis, or rapid prototyping.
Understanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, conversational analytics, or agentic technologies and the data-quality, metadata, semantic, and governance conditions required to support them effectively.
