As a Module Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of advanced manufacturing equipment used in semiconductor production. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration of electromechanical systems while supporting experiments and equipment modifications that drive cutting-edge advancements. Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment.
• Execute setup, calibration, corrective and preventative maintenance on production equipment, including wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum toolsets.
• Monitor tool performance and analyze data to identify and address equipment-related issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Document maintenance activities, repair findings, and parts usage using established systems and procedures.
• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects, focusing on equipment optimization and yield enhancements.
• Support cleanroom operations while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining full cleanroom attire.

Work Model:

This position requires regular onsite presence to perform essential job responsibilities and support manufacturing operations.

Shift Hours:

Employees working Shift 4 (Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nights) start their shift at 6:00 PM and finish at 6:30 AM.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant previous job, and/or internship experiences. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 2+ years of experience.
• Associate degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related discipline.
• HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 4+ years Field Service Engineer (2) level semiconductor maintenance experience.
• HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 6+ years related hands on experience including military technical experience.

This position requires:

• Lift 25-pound parts 1-2 times per shift (on average).
• Climb and perform work on ladders 1-3 times per shift (on average).
• Standing and walking for up to 80% of the workday.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of electromechanical equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proficiency with wet chemistry, plating, and/or dry high-vacuum equipment in a manufacturing or research environment.
• Experience using electrical/mechanical measuring devices such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
• Capability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with tools like torque wrenches and standard hand tools for equipment repair.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$70,670.00-99,770.00 USD (Hourly Role)
