Core work hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00a-5:00p;

Job Qualifications

• Department operations
• Ensure daily operations of SPD fall within AMII guidelines
• Staff schedules
• Manage performance issues
• Engage Physicians
• Daily rounding with physicians
• Finance and Efficiency
• Meet supply and FTE budgets
• Quality Metrics
• Development and oversight of department based PI projects
• Advance Patient safety and Quality

Education

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
• And
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience

• 3 Years clinical experience in a sterile processing department including some supervisory or leadership functions Required
• OR Experience Strongly Preferred
• CST Experience a Plus

Licenses and Certifications

• CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician Upon Hire Required
• Or
• CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Upon Hire Required
• Or
• CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution Upon Hire Required

Skills

Leadership skills, good communication skills, problem solving; must perform daily operations within all areas of Sterile Processing Department.
